Thirty-one students graduated from the Bible Worker Certificate program from Andrews University.  Dr. Ricardo Norton, program director, was present for the graduation which took place at the Richfield Hispanic Church. More than forty students attended ten all-day sessions and completed all the reading and research assignment to complete all the requirements, and 31 finished successfully and graduated. 

The certificate is an academic, not a professional, certificate, but Andrews University does grant the equivalent of two college credit-hours for those who may wish to use them for their education.  

Present at the graduation ceremony were Dr. Ricardo Norton, from Andrews University, Pastor Yulian Tinoco, Pastor Claudio Consuegra, VP for administration and ethnic ministries director for the Minnesota Conference, Hispanic ministries coordinator, and pastors Samuel Bustamante and Eric Juarez.

Dr. Norton also announced that a new certificate is now being offered by Andrews University, this time in Family Ministries. Many of those who just completed the bible worker certificate, and other church members,  have also shown interest in this new certificate which will begin in December and for which there will be a graduation in the Fall of 2010.
